Monte: Tell us a little bit about your specialty in terms of your legal specialty and then lets talk a little bit about this great decision that just happened for you guys.

Stephen: Our office is Greenberg and Lieberman patents, trademarks, and copyrights. We’ve been around for a little longer than a decade. My partner Michael Greenberg is focused mostly on the patents. I’m focused mostly on the trademarks and the litigation. We have another attorney Debora McCormick who does exclusively the litigation. We’ve done a lot of litigation in the area of domains particularly because the clients that we both know and who with the owner of the domain that we’re gonna be talking about in a few minutes. We’ve done a lot of trademark litigation specifically in Virginia and Maryland. We’ve been quite successful along the way.

Monte: Now your clients are also very international as well. Is that correct?

Stephen: We have clients from Kuwait, Iraq, Israel, England, China, literally all over the world. We’ve done filings for, patent filings, in almost every single country in the world and trademark filings in 40 or 50 countries.

Monte: Wow, that’s pretty incredible. How do you think you’ve drawn such an international client base like that?

Stephen: One, we know a lot of people from around the world. Two, we have focused on advertising on the internet for probably longer than most of the other law firms out there.

Monte: What a great idea.

Stephen: It’s the way things become and the way things have been actually for a long, long time the building every single year. At this point we exclusively get clients from the internet with no other form of advertising. You’ll find maybe one or two yellow book advertisings, pieces of advertising that are left out there but their all overbooked. We gave up on anything other than the internet. In all honesty, the people that are on the internet tend to be better educated and more capable of understanding what’s necessary and why you need an intellectual property protection.

Monte: Right, right. The type of, just curious because we talked a lot about this on the previous shows and we’re gonna be talking a lot about it on shows to come with the whole pay per click advertising, what kind of advertising has been the most successful for you and your law firm?

Stephen: Actually we’ve done mostly pay per click. The second, we have acquired a large number of domains and use that to create traffic to our website. We have about 20 different websites and use them to, by putting content up, we give people a reason to come to the website and of course have our own advertising on each one of those sites.
