How do I register a domain name at Moniker?
Login to your Moniker account. Click here for help on logging into your account.
When you are logged in, on top of the page, click on the blue tab “Register Domains”.
On the following page, enter the domain name you wish to register into the Domain Registration box provided. Then click “GO”.
The next page will show a list of the domain TLDs (or extentions, .net, .org. etc.) available.
If you do not wish to register with certain extention, then click on the box next to the domain name to remove the check mark.
If a certain extention is not available, then a red X will be displayed next to the domain name.
Once you have chosen the domain name(s) you wish to register, then scroll down to automatically renew the domain(s).
If you wish to have the domain name automatically renewed when it comes close to expiration, leave this option checked. If you do not wish to have the domain name automatically renewed, then remove the check.
Then, via the drop down menu, choose the number of years you wish to register the domain name(s) for (maximum of 10 years, .CN names can only be registered for 5 years).
Then click on “Custom Registration”.
If you wish to add additional domain name services, such as “Domain WhoIs Privacy, URL Forwarding or Web Hosting then choose the service you want by clicking the box that is provided next to that particular domain name service. Then click on “Add to Cart. (If you do not wish to add any additional services, press “Continue”.)
On the next page, the domains name(s) you wish to register, the years you wish to register them for and any additional domain name services you have chosen are displayed, as well as the amount you are being charged. Confirm all the information is correct and then click “Checkout”.
Now choose your method of payment from the following 3 options:
- Pay using your account prepaid funds.
- Pay using credit card on file
- Pay using a new credit card
If you do not have any prepaid funds or a Credit Card on file, then choose “Pay using a new credit card”. (If you wish to pay by another method, then please contact support@moniker.com for assistance).
Scroll down and enter the requested information.
Once you have filled in the information, click on “Buy Now”.
You will then be brought to a page confirming you have been charged.
In order to confirm the domain name(s) have been registered, take note of your Tracking Reference Number: Then click on where it says “Click Here” (right above the Tracking Reference Number).
You should now be brought to The Moniker Account Status Center
On the left. Click on the Tracking Reference Number that is associated with your transaction. On the following page, you should see that the domain name(s) have been registered successfully.
An e-mail receipt for your purchase is then sent to the e-mail address on file for the Moniker Account.
