Q: How did you hear about Moniker?

A: I visit various domain related message boards. I saw that a lot of the large domain owners were using Moniker. I sent a note to Monte Cahn, he got right back to me I was impressed with his professionalism.

Q: Why did you select Moniker?

Q: What advantages does Moniker have vs. o ther options ?

A: They give personal attention, if I make them aware of something they take care of it within a couple hours. Also, they are very good at large portfolio domain management, they make it very easy to change  something on 50,000 domains at the same time.

Q: What are some of the Moniker services that you use?

A: We use domain registration for TLD’s (Top level domains) .com, .net and .info and I use them for escrow services for domain sales.

Q: Can you comment on the customer service you get from Moniker?

A: The service is very timely, they get back to us in 1 hour or less. They understand the domain business very well. This is important, they understand the complex topics and I don’t have to explain something when I have an unusual request.

Q: If you were to recommend Moniker to ano ther company, what product or service benefits would you mention?

A: I would recommend Moniker for anyone with a large domain portfolio, if you have 500 or 1000 domains up to very large portfolios. Also Moniker is the best choice if security is important to you.

Q: What has been the best single benefit you have experienced since switching to Moniker
A: We don’t need to worry about security. Moniker will not let people transfer domains out of our portfolio, they check everything personally and I don’t have to worry.

Q: Are there any tips or suggestions you would like to share with o ther Domain managers from your years of experience?
A: No matter what you should consolidate your domains with one registrar. With the recent changes at ICANN you need to make changes to your domains, if you have five or ten registrars you have to go all over to make the changes. Make sure you have one strong registrar with top level security.
