Cancellation of EAP, General Availability starts earlier: The registry has announced that there will not be an Early Access Program (EAP) for .art. Thus, please note the new launch time-table:
- Sunrise: Closed
- Limited Registration Period (LRP): Until May 9 (09:59am EDT). For arts-related not-for-profits, museums, institutions, galleries, artists and established members of the art world. Multiple applications for the same domain will be resolved by auction. Registrants must request a token before they can finalize their registration.
- General Availability (GA): As of May 10 (10:00am EDT). First-come, first-served. Price: $15.99/yr
Release of reserved names: On May 10 at 10:00am EDT the .art registry will release previously reserved premium names.
