The Spanish registry is going to filter out .es contacts whose associated identification numbers admittedly comply with the NIF validation algorithm but are manifestly incorrect because they do not correspond to a real physical or legal person. The creation of new contacts and the registration of domains using fake numbers of identification such as 00000000T, 99999999R, 00000001R, X0000000T will not be possible any more soon.
All .es domain owners are committed to provide accurate and truthful data. Please note that the Spanish registry has the authority to carry out verification on the registry data of domain names and even to delete domains where required.
