In the "Additional options" section, you only need to enter the name of the applicant and to select the appropriate classification, e. g. Company or Blogger/Other, from a drop-down menu. Optionally, you can enter comments about the domain name in the field "Holder Remark".
Furthermore, it will no longer be necessary to state the reason for choosing a domain in a separate form ("claim to the name") as of March. Anyone with a real connection to Ireland can then register any available .ie domain without having to prove the right to a specific name. Trademark owners are therefore advised to register the desired .ie domains now before this policy change.
