- More than 520,000 reserved .top domains were released for registration by the registry on Sept 12.
- The release of over 1,000,000 names within the TLDs .audio, .blackfriday, .christmas, .click, .diet, .flowers, .gift, .guitars, .help, .hiphop, .hosting, .juegos, .link, .lol, .photo, .pics, .property, .sexy, .tattoo has been postponed to Oct 25, 17:00 UTC.
- MMX will be releasing some 17,000 domains on Oct 18, 2016 (16:00 UTC). Among them are formerly reserved .vip pinyin domains and domains coming from the secondary market.
- .bar & .rest premium name release on Oct 19: Thousands of generic, geographic, numeric and industry-specific keywords, such as tapas.bar, rock.bar and miami.rest will be available via a tiered pricing structure. Furthermore, CentralNIC will release 10,000 previously reserved names at standard pricing.
- The .rich registry has released a list of 200 formerly restricted Sunrise domains. They can now be registered through general registration.
