We introduced a 'Travel Industry Self-Acknowledgement' checkbox in the UI to provide eligibility evidence for new .travel registrations. By activating the checkbox during the registration process you acknowledge that you are a member of the travel industry. This is only required for new registrations.
Before this change, to register a .travel domain you had to obtain a Unique Identification Number (UIN) directly at the registry website by describing the planned use of your domain. Now the UIN is not needed anymore for new .travel registrations.
