The trustee (service contact) will be removed for all .uk domains currently using a trustee service. This means that the tech contact will be replaced by the owner contact.
Background: Due to the upcoming introduction of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Nominet has changed their policies for .uk domain names and abandonded the local contact requirement (service contact). The new policies are valid as of May 22, 2018.
